I was born in Birmingham but did most of my growing up in Alabaster, Alabama. Nicknamed “Katie Kodak” by friends and family because I always seemed to have a camera in their face, I have loved photography for a very long time. I have taken thousands of photos of children (mine included) through the years and I am excited to take photos of even more children and families.
My children are everything to me. My husband is my best friend and my resident comic. Family is everything to me. I am very blessed to be able to do what I love every day. I am grateful for God's blessings along my lifelong journey with photography
Making the choice to not be an “out-of-the-box” studio photographer, I have tried to create photo sessions that are fun and comfortable for children and families while also putting my clients in the position to be able to be expressive and let my camera capture their true personality. I like for photo sessions to be fun for all of us! My background in education and my career as a Mom helps me insert some fun and ligh-heartedness into my photo sessions.
I am currently booking custom photography sessions Shelby, Jefferson and Tuscaloosa counties. Besides giving you beautiful quality photographs, I want to give you memories captured through my camera to last a lifetime.

Every session with Miss G has been adorable in her first year. She just turned 10 months old and she is so stinkin cute. Already walking around and getting into everything, Miss G is just too darned cute to not want to scoop her up and kiss those sweet cheeks.
